About Us
The Market Potential Group is a research and advisory group focused on assisting clients:-
- Make better informed decisions, by providing them with the right market intelligence and competitive intelligence.
- Improve the effectiveness of their sales & marketing activities by analyzing and helping refine skills, tools and channels.
Our Team
Stephen, Michael and Alex are core members of the group. Dave, Tom, Barney, Phil and Claes provide regional and vertical market specialty as part of the extended coverage group. We all draw-on a network of approved partners to help meet the needs of our client base.
Our Founder
From 1979-87, Stephen Porter worked for Imperial Chemical Industries (UK) as part of the instrumentation systems maintenance and design group. During the next four years he worked as part of a project team engineering & delivering communications and control solutions. In 1991 Stephen began working for a rapidly growing US company, now the market leader in real-time and embedded operating systems. In 1996 he took-up a marketing role within the company; his responsibilities grew to managing a team of specialists charged with delivering, product and sales support around the globe. In 2000 Stephen formed the first of several successful European companies designed to address the varied out-sourced marketing needs of major international corporations.
